crazy life here at buehring

OK before i begin this blog i just have to say when i saw this thing come out it scared the living S**T out of me! number one because of its size and number 2 because the thing is living on our post now.

here is the first pic. as you can see already the lizard is big and trust me i do mean BIG for this lizard(not sure what kind it is but i have seen smaller ones before) to be this size it has to be old as dirt, on a funny side kinda like you mom:D i love you, now if you look closly to its tail it has sharp points on it, well some idiots here on the camp and one of which is in my unit were playing with it at first trying to get his tail to move, i called them all morons and told them to leave it alone. i thought they did until i hear it hissing and it was worse then our cat is, i turn around to see the idiot from my unit reaching down with only a lighter in his hand to get him/her to flick its tail. i just looked on in amazement of how stupid he was bc im not trying to get hit by something with spikes that when you already say when he/she swings their tail it lifts the back legs off the ground bc of how much force it swings with.

now then here is the second pic. this one give you a lil more to the size of this thing.

ok if you save this pic to your desktop and then zoom in on it that shiny thing next to it is a lock that is about the size of my palm. and it is a lil bit bigger then this things arm,JUST THE ARM!! now i had to go use the restroom at this point and when i came back he was still there so i had to have fun with people. there was a civilian contractor that lives in the building it is under right now. he came out and i told him "careful there is a big ass lizard under your house", he laughed and said "yeah right" i just waited and smiled he came around the corner and saw it, i thought the guy was going to die of a heart attack bc he jumped about 4ft in the air, i laughed and said " you believe me now"

just another day at buehring thank god it will be over soon. i have seen a lot of things from camels, goat, sheep, kangaroo mice, snakes lizards(just not this big),falcons, hawks, and even pigeons while i have been out here, every now and then when im at the beach i have seen a few fish and something larger i couldnt tell what they were but i saw the dark shadows under the water that was enough for me.

well im going to go again i will try to keep up on this one sense G-nerve didnt really go that well LOL. talk to you all again soon

So what is that thing, like 2ft long? Great picture at the top of the blog, I'm glad to see you started one again. Please try to keep it up even when you get back to Deutschland, because it's the easiest way for me to keep in touch. I know I haven't done too good of a job at that these past two weeks, but I've been extremely bussy with work and travel. Love you and see you soon

Dudester,

Just wanted to say hello and thank you for serving our great nation. You have turned out to be a fine young mam, (to bad you will probably end up looking like that follicle challenge old guy) I dont think my sons could lock you out of the house if you were babysitting them now, lol. Keep your powder dry and your bier cold!
